Service Description
Preventive maintenance is very essential to the longevity of your power equipment and our service department is here to make that task easy. We will completely service your unit and check every aspect of the machine to make sure it is in good working condition. If your mower requires major repairs above the normal service, our service manager will give you a call to discuss the repair with you.
- Change engine oil and oil filter (if applicable)
- Replace fuel filter
- Check, clean, or replace air filter
- Replace spark plug(s)
- Sharpen and balance blades
- Check the starting, charging, and ignition system
- Clean under mower deck
- Clean engine and transmission cooling fins
- Lubricate chassis, wheel spindles, pivoting axle, and deck
- Treat fuel with ethanol treatment
- Inspect and adjust throttle/choke cables and linkage
- Inspect belts and pulleys
- Test engine RPMs and adjust if necessary
- Inspect the safety features
- Check tire pressure
- Level mower deck
- Check and adjust PTO clutch air gap if necessary
- Inspect, lubricate, and adjust steering if necessary
- Clean and treat battery terminals
- Inspect the overall operation
